Coastal Electrics were engaged to supply, install, and commission the electrical and communications infrastructure for the Hope Downs 1 rail and heavy haulage crossover tunnels. The works were delivered by a team comprising supervision, electricians, and trades assistants, and included pit and pipe works, cable containment, cabling, lighting, terminations, energisation, and commissioning. Coastal Electrics also delivered the supply, installation, termination, and commissioning of fibre optic communications and leaky feeder systems for the rail tunnels.
